Service objectives

To support offenders from the point of referral to release and resettlement

To assess offenders needs during and after sentence

To provide a befriending/mentoring service with the use of volunteers

To work on a plan for release

To assist by helping to find accommodation training or employment upon release

To liaise with and support family members where necessary

To impact on the offender’s thinking skills and promote a pro-social mindset

To protect the public by working with the offender, their probation officer and their family

To co-ordinate a successful return to the community
