Service objectives

  • To support offenders from the point of referral  to release and resettlement

 

  • To assess offenders needs during and after sentence

 

  • To provide a befriending/mentoring service with the use of volunteers

 

  • To work on a plan for release

 

  • To assist by helping to find accommodation training or employment upon release

 

  • To liaise with and support family members where necessary

 

  • To impact on the offender’s thinking  skills and promote a pro-social mindset

 

  • To protect the public by working with  the offender, their probation officer and their family

 

  • To co-ordinate a successful return to the community
